Show cover allows you to have peace of mind when choosing to display your Classic Ex-Military Vehicle at an Ex-Military show or Classic Car show as the cover includes public liability insurance so you can rest assured if anything went wrong and a member of the public got injured through you displaying your Classic Ex-Military vehicle that your insurer will cover the third parties claim and you will also be covered for any damages to your vehicle caused by the public to your vehicle whilst displaying it.

Agreed Valuation **

Agreed valuations are available with some Classic Ex-Military vehicle policies Lancaster Insurance Services sell and the inclusion of this benefit is dependent on a vehicles age, type of insurance you want and the insurer you choose.

Purchasing an Agreed Valuation allows you to have your vehicle ‘valued’ by our independent valuers and a certificate of valuation (£) valid for up to 2 years issued to you meaning you know what your pay-out (£) would be for your Ex-Military vehicle in the event of a total loss (less any policy excess) prior to a total loss occurring.

Having an Agreed Valuation in place on your policy based on your Ex-Military vehicle’s condition and its current replacement value and means if the worst where to happen you can replace your vehicle with another Ex-Military vehicle in a similar condition and value rather than taking the chance of being paid ‘market value’ for your vehicle. Market value can be considerably less than your vehicle was worth this is because ‘market value’ doesn’t take into account any restoration costs, modifications fitted, provenance and ‘market value’ isn’t specific to your vehicle where an agreed valuation policy is.

Limited Mileage Insurance

Often a true Classic Ex-Military vehicle will be on the road much less than your everyday vehicles often only being used at the weekend, holidays, shows and high days and our insurers reward you with extra discount for ‘limited mileage’ on this basis.

Choice of Repairer Option

Lancaster Insurance Services are partnered with Classic Ex-Military vehicle insurers who will allow you to choose your own repairer in the event of accident where your Classic Ex-Military vehicle needs repairing rather than you needing to use the insurers approved repairer (subject to terms & conditions set by the insurer). This option allows Classic Ex-Military vehicle owners to take their vehicle for repair to the garage who may be restored the vehicle for you, or you can take it to a local garage who work on your vehicle regularly for you so they can carry out the work for you providing you that extra peace of mind if the worst were to occur.
